The Nekomonthly is an online tournament that occurs every five weeks , rotating a variety of fighting games! For our first year, we're projecting a six-month run, the last Saturday of every month, from March to August. It will be a streamed event, casted by Mirai.To introduce ourselves and potentially connect some cool communities, the first and last tournament sessions of the 2023 series will both be exhibition style—pitting gaming streamers/content creators against one another in bracket!The goal of Heaven's Arena and the Nekomonthly is to create a safe space for gamers of all backgrounds and skill levels to foster a healthy sense of competition and play fighting games together! This idea of a 'blended community' is actually what inspired the exhibition brackets! It's a fun way to to showcase smaller, indie FG franchises and highlight a diverse range of creators. It’s also a fun opportunity for communities to root for their favorite creator and be exposed to more fighting games.
